Niclas Ellhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Valério Cordeiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 6th minute, but Rogério Ceni got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Divina Comédia FC hanging dry this time. After 13 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Chulapa. 19 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Chulapa came free, but Niclas Ellhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valério Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valério Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niclas Ellhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Cerezo in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Chulapa came free, but Niclas Ellhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Paraense in the 31st minute of play. The tension between the B-S-L and the Divina Comédia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Chulapa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Ellhof saved B-S-L from getting behind. If Dedê Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Ellhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Chulapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niclas Ellhof. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Cerezo ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 40 minutes, Pedrão Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divina Comédia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niclas Ellhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Dedê Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Aloísio Chulapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Ellhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Chulapa in the 53rd minute of play. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salgado in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Aloísio Chulapa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Ellhof. B-S-L's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aloísio Chulapa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Váldson Lopes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when B-S-L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Váldson Lopes in the 64th minute really tested Niclas Ellhof's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th minute, Cristiano Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof got control of the ball when Aloísio Chulapa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Alexandre Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. B-S-L's Vitório Correia was substituted for Ediberto Travassos. After a rather tough play, B-S-L's Alexandre Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Cerezo came free, but Niclas Ellhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Dorian Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Velloso in the 84th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Valladares to maneuver through the defense.
