Matias Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Gerson Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Danone CC defense, Dário Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Massa. The Danone CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Massa should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Recife in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Haimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Recife in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Verissimo KFCH F.C. booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Mosiniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Júnior Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Matias Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Veloso in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Haimar saved Verissimo KFCH F.C. from getting behind. Matias Haimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior Veloso went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the game, Júnior Veloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danone CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verissimo KFCH F.C. the free kick. When Wilian Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Matorin couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Clemente Recife ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Haimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Veloso in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Haimar saved Verissimo KFCH F.C. from getting behind. Clemente Recife took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Haimar. Matias Haimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half Danone CC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian Matorin made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, one of Verissimo KFCH F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dinei de Medeiros placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Matias Haimar had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Clemente Recife from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zdzislaw Waselewicz's late challenge caught a Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdzislaw Waselewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Danone CC made a substitution. Álvaro Silva replaced Dinei de Medeiros. After a rather tough play, Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Cristian Mello got a free kick in the 71st minute. Matias Haimar stood somewhat misplaced when Júnior Veloso came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 74 minute. With an all-out effort, Danone CC's Matias Haimar threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Júnior Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Danone CC's Emanuel Mazza was substituted for Zdzislaw Waselewicz. Danone CC's Zézinho Silva was substituted for Cyprian Grajewski. The corner led Danone CC's Alfredinho Pimenta to fire away a dangerous shot which Matias Haimar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matias Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Matias Haimar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s goalkeeper Matias Haimar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Danone CC booed when Verissimo KFCH F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredinho Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Clemente Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Danone CC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
