Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Gilson Xavier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Xavier in the 4th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Gilson Xavier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rogério Ceni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dedê Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho da Costa having to interfere. Inácio Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael de Andrade in the 15th minute of the match. Tales Almeida hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gilson Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Ceni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The nice shot from Pedrão Paraense in the 32ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Maurinho da Costa had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ismael de Andrade succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Maurinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Divina Comédia FC's zone, Ismael de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal and Ismael de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Cerezo came free, but Maurinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play FLU ES fc's Tales Almeida was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tales Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Váldson Lopes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedê Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. José Paulo Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Gilson Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLU ES fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FLU ES fc's Maurinho da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Paraense in the 61st minute of play. When Divina Comédia FC's Pedrão Paraense in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FLU ES fc's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Paraense came free, but Maurinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Ismael de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLU ES fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Gilson Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 77 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Patrick da Rocha. Váldson Lopes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Maurinho da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divina Comédia FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Paraense in the 85th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Maurinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FLU ES fc defense, Aloísio Chulapa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurinho da Costa. The FLU ES fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurinho da Costa should have stopped the shot. If Dedê Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
