The supporters of Danone CC booed when Jabaquara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Pimenta. In the 15th minute, Frédson Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Jabaquara SC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Júnior Veloso lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Niyazi Derim. With a little luck, Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim got control of the ball when Clemente Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otávio Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Hever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Hever in the 27th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szczepan Mosiniak. In the 30th minute Ruperto Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Veloso came free, but Niyazi Derim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Grajewski in the 44th minute of play forced Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Júnior Veloso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frédson Melo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Niyazi Derim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júnior Veloso scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niyazi Derim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dinei de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Niyazi Derim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 66th minute of play. Danone CC's Otávio Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Danone CC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Camargo came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Clemente Recife notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim. Niyazi Derim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niyazi Derim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Perivaldo Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jabaquara SC and the Danone CC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Carneiro. In the 89th minute, Ruperto Hever reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otávio Massa. The goal made the score 5-2.
