Răzvan Fințescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Lunáticos FC's Răzvan Fințescu got control of the ball when Toninho Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony de Sena came out of the goal and Geovani do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Edu Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Camargo in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Edu Camargo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tony de Sena. Tony de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani do Nascimento in the 43rd minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Penha hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodriguinho Dias to make the kick off. Edu Camargo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tony de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunáticos FC. Tomás Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tomás Madureira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernandinho Fontes got free with Tony de Sena in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernandinho Fontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 75 minute of play. With a little luck, Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena got control of the ball when Fernandinho Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lunáticos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
