SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Adriano Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Moraes in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to SUPERSTAR - DMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adriano Carvalho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Moraes in the 8th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Adriano Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Cearense in the 11th minute of play. If Manfredo Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 played minutes Club Athletic Warszaw got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Moraes. After 22 minutes, Silas Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Athletic Warszaw and the SUPERSTAR - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Athletic Warszaw! Augusto Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Linhares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Adriano Carvalho got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Nilson Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adriano Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adriano Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Torres in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Moraes came free, but Adriano Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SUPERSTAR - DMZ's zone, Nilson Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Sergipano came out of the goal and Nilson Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Club Athletic Warszaw's Nilson Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Mário Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Moraes in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Club Athletic Warszaw were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Fabiano Favoretto in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adriano Sergipano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adriano Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Luiz Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Adriano Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Moraes. Adriano Sergipano stood somewhat misplaced when Luiz Moraes came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Nilson Torres struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Adriano Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Athletic Warszaw. After 68 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Araújo. In the 69th minute, Cristian Salles fired a really elegant long shot, but Adriano Sergipano threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Nilson Torres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adriano Sergipano, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Club Athletic Warszaw's Silas Proença got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Fernandez came free, but Adriano Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Sergipano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletic Warszaw's Nilson Torres. But to his dismay, Nilson Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Adriano Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by SUPERSTAR - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Salles was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Athletic Warszaw's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th match minute, Club Athletic Warszaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Salles to maneuver through the defense. Nilson Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Adriano Sergipano made a huge save. Club Athletic Warszaw played a much better game than SUPERSTAR - DMZ and deserved their victory. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
