In the 4th minute, Víktor Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Oscar de Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 冯星默 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 7 minutes, Afonso Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEREBAH FC and the Dragões de Campo Grande players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Hermes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Vito de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEREBAH FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Samuca Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víktor Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Víktor Barral hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. PEREBAH FC's Afonso Hermes got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Afonso Hermes off the ground. After 16 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Hermes. Charles Fonseca did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amauri Proença 17 minutes into the match. Charles Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amauri Proença came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Antônio Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Proença having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Cássio Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEREBAH FC and the Dragões de Campo Grande players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Amorim. Thanks to some nice moves Thomás Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Amauri Proença however easily saved by the left post. 冯星默 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Thiago Godoi made a precise shot to the right of 冯星默. Dragões de Campo Grande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Fonseca made a kick off. 冯星默 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar de Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Charles Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amauri Proença. PEREBAH FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Penha got free with 冯星默 in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Diamantino Penha took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for 冯星默 to make any attempt to save it. Amauri Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Charles Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 冯星默 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gilson Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEREBAH FC's protests and gave Gilson Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Dragões de Campo Grande could leave the field as winners, despite PEREBAH FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
