Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Augusto Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Carlos Mattos in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Castro in the 26th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Carlos Mattos in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Mattos in the 60th minute of play forced Błαck Bułłs MZ's goalkeeper Augusto Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Adriano de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Erik Eger got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Mattos got free with Eliseu Negri in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Corrêa in the 89th minute of play. The Błαck Bułłs MZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Błαck Bułłs MZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
