The coaching staff of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulão Fernandez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 7th match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Luís Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Válter Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ booed when 20 DE SETEMBRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Alessandro Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Bastos. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Walmyr Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo do Nascimento in the 28th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Alessandro Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benedito Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Luís Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benedito Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Válter Neto made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Bastos. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 76th minute, Alessandro Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lino de Lara's late challenge caught a 20 DE SETEMBRO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Lino de Lara hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Walmyr Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo do Nascimento in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Benedito Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Neto. Alessandro Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedito Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Neto in the 90th minute. Walmyr Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Reynaldo do Nascimento notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of 20 DE SETEMBRO's Walmyr Borges. Walmyr Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 20 DE SETEMBRO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
