The supporters of New England Patriots booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleiton Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho de Souza in the 8th minute of the match. Alfredinho Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredinho Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to New England Patriots getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alfredinho Macedo hit a great ball. Paulão Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. José Carlos Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Samuca Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Patriots's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.E. Juventus FSCMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Samuca Prata got a free kick in the 17th minute. Lino de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Toninho de Souza had several of the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cleiton Queiroz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 26 minutes, Reynaldo do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ and the New England Patriots players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Cleiton Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gustavo Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. New England Patriots's José Carlos Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Fernandez in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes New England Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Macedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Dracena in the 40th minute of play forced New England Patriots's goalkeeper José Carlos Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, New England Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Santos to maneuver through the defense. José Carlos Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Fernandez in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Dito de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Paulão Fernandez took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for José Carlos Meireles to make any attempt to save it. After 62 played minutes G.E. Juventus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Godoi. Samuca Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cleiton Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Dracena hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Samuca Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Dito de Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Carlos Meireles. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in New England Patriots's zone, Dito de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Meireles came out of the goal and Dito de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 87th minute of the match Samuca Prata completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Samuca Prata a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ booed when New England Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ defense, Toninho de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleiton Queiroz. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleiton Queiroz should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
