Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) In the 5th match minute, Minuim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Guimarães in the 6th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elano Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elano Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edu Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Corrêa having to interfere. When Edu Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Zonta couldn't finish the play. Maurinho Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Silvinho Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minuim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. A collision led to Minuim SS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Silvinho Marquez hit a great ball. Grêmio FBPA's Roger Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Dário Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurinho Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Roger Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Severo in the 25th minute of play. Roger Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Edu Zonta's late challenge caught a Minuim SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. Edu Zonta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Roger Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Severo in the 34th minute of play. Roger Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Donato in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Dário Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio FBPA and the Minuim SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41stth minute of the game Aílton Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's Roger Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvinho Marquez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Neto to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edu Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Aílton Donato made a precise shot to the right of Roger Vergílio. Grêmio FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Maurinho Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Zonta in the 59th minute of play. Maurinho Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Joélson Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Silvinho Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Jorge Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minuim SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Vito Pirani sped through Grêmio FBPA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Vergílio. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA's zone, Jorge Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Vergílio came out of the goal and Jorge Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Cordeiro took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Vergílio. Roger Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 80th minute, Reynaldo Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurinho Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Joélson Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Aílton Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Minuim SS got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Severo. Claudinho Zonta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurinho Corrêa came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinho Zonta slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 88th minute. Joélson Guimarães hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Minuim SS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
