In the 4th minute, José Vítor Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 de Mayo's Adhemar Furlan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grêmio Bulls. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gilberto Severo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo de Souza. Ronaldinho Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 27 de Mayo's José Vítor Pinheiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel Jacinto. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. When Gerson de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Bulls's protests and gave Gerson de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Andrézinho Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. José Vítor Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcel Jacinto could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hílton Cardoso got free with Marcel Jacinto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Gerson de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber de Amaral in the 35th minute of the match. Eduardo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Severo in the 41st minute of play. Hílton Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hílton Cardoso hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes 27 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Cardoso. In the 48thth minute of the game Gilberto Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Eduardo de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The 27 de Mayo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grêmio Bulls were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Kléber de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Hílton Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Eduardo de Souza made a huge save. Gilberto Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo de Souza having to interfere. Adhemar Furlan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcel Jacinto. Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 76 minutes, Gilberto Severo made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. 27 de Mayo's Eduardo de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Bezerra in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Kléber de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Eduardo de Souza made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio Bulls's Washington Bezerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo de Souza. That made the score 1-4 after 98 minutes of play.
