The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Bertassi during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Magno Bertassi. Juarês Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Godoi having to interfere. Basílio Prado took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto França. Umberto França dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cássio Amaral hit a great ball. Umberto França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrão Godoi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Paraibano in the 20th minute of play forced Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Umberto França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gurdurão's Magno Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Anísio Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Umberto França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gurdurão. In the 26thth minute of the game Magno Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caskinha Esporte Clube's Umberto França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Umberto França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Bertassi in the 30th minute of play. Umberto França came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Gurdurão's Armando Brodel. But to his dismay, Armando Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Brodel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Bertassi in the 39th minute of play forced Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Umberto França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Kauã Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caskinha Esporte Clube and the Gurdurão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Caskinha Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Silva. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Juarês Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Caskinha Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Magno Bertassi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Umberto França came out and tried to block the shot, but Magno Bertassi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 66th minute. A collision led to Caskinha Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jânio Gerber hit a great ball. After 74 minutes of play Gurdurão's Magno Bertassi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Magno Bertassi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Armando Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Umberto França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Humberto Catarinense hit a great ball. If Juarês Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Gurdurão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caskinha Esporte Clube throughout the match.
