Caetano Garcia came out of the goal and Hílton Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when S.E.R Corujão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Castro in the 61st minute of the match. Caetano Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Cardoso during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renato Silveira made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque immediately put the ball in play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 27 de Mayo fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.E.R Corujão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
