Wilson Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Viana got free with Maurinho Corrêa in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Vianna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Minuim SS's Aílton Donato shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Aílton Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Viana in the 44th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Viana to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Arthur Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minuim SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Renan Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Maurinho Corrêa. Minuim SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 59th minute, Arthur Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Gurdurão's Vladimir Rossi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar do Nascimento in the 67 minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Naldo Viana notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Minuim SS's Maurinho Corrêa. Maurinho Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurinho Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aílton Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gurdurão were furious when Júlio Sá was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 75 minutes into the game, one of Gurdurão:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The throw-in from Cristiano Cerezo in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gurdurão's Willian Siqueira. César Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wilson Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Dionísio in the 95th minute of the match. Wilson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Minuim SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minuim SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
