Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Meira started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Gilberto Severo got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Arósio in the 6th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Reinaldo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Geovani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Abel de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figueira SC FSCMZ the free kick. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Jacinto having to interfere. Marcel Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Borges went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Grêmio Bulls booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Pinheiro in the 24th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Figueira SC FSCMZ's Geovani Borges in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio Bulls's goalie prevented a goal. Marcel Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Arósio in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Borges in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Severo to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Renatinho Rodrigues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Simão Arósio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Jacinto. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Borges in the 65th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alexsandro Carioca hit a great ball. Marcel Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Borges's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Marcel Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Magno Marinho. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Marcelo Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Cerezo came free, but Gino Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Donatello to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Danilo Marques got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gino Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Arósio in the 86th minute of play. Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Abel de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Medeiros, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle sounded Figueira SC FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grêmio Bulls.
