But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Tasso couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elói Branco went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oséas Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Quebra Ossos FC's Téo Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dagoberto Trancoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quebra Ossos FC reached it. 12 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Salles came free, but Dagoberto Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Elói Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dagoberto Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Jipa RO got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Pombal. 17 minutes into the game, Quebra Ossos FC's Telmo Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Edvaldo Pombal took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Vitório Britto to make any attempt to save it. Edvaldo Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Britto was a little too slow when Edvaldo Pombal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Salles in the 33rd minute of play forced Jipa RO's goalkeeper Dagoberto Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jipa RO's Edvaldo Pombal in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elói Branco to make the kick off. Dagoberto Trancoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Telmo Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Edvaldo Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitório Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Pombal in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edvaldo Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Britto was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When Thiago Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jipa RO's protests and gave Thiago Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jipa RO booed when Quebra Ossos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Quebra Ossos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
