Betão Marinho started the match with the kick off. Edson de Lara hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldão dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardinho Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 40th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Edson de Lara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ricardinho Vander made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 59th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ricardinho Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Noel das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão dos Santos came out of the goal and Noel das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ricardinho Vander put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. Quebra Ossos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
