Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Enio Palmeira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Wanderson Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vânderson Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Duarte in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Duarte in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vânderson Botelho saved Pereiras FC from getting behind. Wanderson Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wanderson Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Wanderson Mello hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Morro Grande E.C's Vânderson Botelho threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruy Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Nilson Trevisan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 15 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Mello. In the 18th minute, Enio Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Duarte in the 30th minute of play forced Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Silas Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Régis Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. After the first half Pereiras FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Silva to make the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Enio Palmeira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Silva. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willian Loyola was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The throw-in from Tiago Gabriel de Carvalho in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino. Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiago Gabriel de Carvalho in the 73 minute of the game. Willian Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Trancoso in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Palmeira. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta got a free kick in the 80th minute. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pereiras FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
