The supporters of LUIZ PANATO booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. LUIZ PANATO's Juninho Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save LUIZ PANATO from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Berger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson Botelho was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Berger in the 17th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Juninho Carneiro made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Pereiras FC were awarded a corner. Nilson Trevisan went to the cornerflag to take it. Pereiras FC's Nilson Trevisan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juninho Carneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 27 minutes, Guga Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUIZ PANATO and the Pereiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pereiras FC's Vânderson Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Berger in the 31st minute of play. Juninho Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas Soeiro in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Luís Guilherme Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fan Si Quan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUIZ PANATO's supporters rose to their feet, but Fan Si Quan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

After a defensive mix-up in Pereiras FC's zone, Teodoro Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Botelho came out of the goal and Teodoro Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Berger. Pereiras FC's Cleiton Alcântara was substituted for Leonardo Senna. After some careless play in the LUIZ PANATO defense, Luís Guilherme Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Carneiro. The LUIZ PANATO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Carneiro should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as LUIZ PANATO's Fan Si Quan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vânderson Botelho. That made the score 2-2 after 66 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, LUIZ PANATO's Luís de Godoi got a free kick in the 68th minute. LUIZ PANATO's Juninho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Palmeira in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, LUIZ PANATO's Teodoro Berger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Botelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betinho Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Pereiras FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after LUIZ PANATO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilson Trevisan took the corner. Silvinho de Queirós hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vânderson Botelho could save by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LUIZ PANATO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
