Flávio Branco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Eurico Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ronaldão dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldão dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Pinho in the 42nd minute of the match.
