Valdemar Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Pereiras FC got a corner. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enio Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Vânderson Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Pinho in the 91st minute of the match. Hudson Moreira lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Pereiras FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pereiras FC:s Vânderson Botelho showed great skill when he stopped Betinho Dantas:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Branco got free with Vânderson Botelho in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
