Jipa RO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edgard Vides 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Jipa RO's Aloísio Fernandez got a free kick in the 7th minute. Aírton Capixaba hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Fernandez in the 31st minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Joélson Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Edgard Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Campidelis. Dagoberto Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Edgard Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jipa RO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maurício Quirino hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edgard Vides made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aírton Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Capixaba's late challenge caught a Jipa RO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Litoral EC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aírton Capixaba hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Jipa RO's Dagoberto Trancoso got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Jipa RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Souto to maneuver through the defense. Tiaguinho Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Vides in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Vides. Tiaguinho Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jipa RO getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marcus Souto hit a great ball. The supporters of Jipa RO booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Vides scored 2-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jipa RO's Tiaguinho Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Vides in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Vides came free, but Tiaguinho Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiaguinho Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Litoral EC - CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
