Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Luisão Sabóia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 12th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Rossi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PIRATAS TFP's zone, Luisão Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Toledo came out of the goal and Luisão Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elano Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Novaes in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Pedrão Velasco got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Elano Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elano Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. José Augusto Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elano Toledo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Novaes in the 38th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Elano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Sabóia in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, José Augusto Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre da Cunha to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Ibirama Futebol Clube defense, João Vítor de Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruud Windmuller. The Ibirama Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruud Windmuller should have stopped the shot. Luisão Sabóia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elano Toledo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ruud Windmuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th play minute Luisão Sabóia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elano Toledo. 2-1. In the 67th minute of the match João Vítor de Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruud Windmuller showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Dênis Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Toledo. PIRATAS TFP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Edson Salgado got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes PIRATAS TFP got a freekick which was hit by Dito Donatello. After 95 minutes of play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's José Augusto Novaes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Ibirama Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
