Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Vianna in the 15th minute of the match. PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo do Nascimento in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Dito Donatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Siqueira. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vianna in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Floripa Lions FSCMZ defense, Manuel Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Siqueira. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Siqueira should have stopped the shot. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre da Cunha in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes in the game, Luís Eduardo do Nascimento fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elano Toledo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Maranhense during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor de Medeiros in the 79th minute of play. Gil Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. Dito Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Barreto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded PIRATAS TFP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Floripa Lions FSCMZ.
