Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chicão Guerra got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Reis to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Edinho Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the Motta Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Edinho Simão got a free kick in the 10th minute. Luís Eduardo Reis shot a long shot in the 11th minute and a light blocked Elder Lago hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Chicão Guerra took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Lago. Elder Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Elder Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Nogueira in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Leite to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Chicão Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Zézinho de Salles got a free kick in the 26th minute. Chicão Guerra scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41stth minute of the game Chicão Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Elder Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Motta Futebol Clube's Joélson Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elder Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Motta Futebol Clube's Ezequiel Matorin was substituted for Chicão Guerra. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidnei Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gualter Queirós got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Matorin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elder Lago, 0-5. Joélson Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Teixeira. Cássio Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Lago having to interfere. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Geovanni Botelho hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gil Hoffmann notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio. Ronaldinho Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Ezequiel Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motta Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Motta Futebol Clube played a much better game than Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
