Oséias Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Amaral in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Manoel Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo CIMZ and the AC Korban players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luisão Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Falcão Ramalho in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute AC Korban were awarded a corner. Nelson Leite went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Baptista got free with Luisão Sabóia in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luisão Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Wilton Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Baptista in the 54th minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Luisão Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Baptista in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Flávio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Korban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráuzio Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dráuzio Amaral hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Breckenfeld in the 70th minute of play forced AC Korban's goalkeeper Oséias Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Maranhense hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Gabriel Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Romário Godoi. If Zé Carlos Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Matos came free, but Luisão Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flamengo CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
