Júlio Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Ferraz in the 5th minute of the match. Saecinza's Júlio Alagoano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Saecinza from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Alvinegro Carioca's Hermínio Ferraz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Alagoano. Júlio Alagoano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Hermínio Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvinegro Carioca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Caio Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Alagoano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Braga went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Percy Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the game Patrício Carvalho made a throw-in which Igor Paranaense played forward. After 34 minutes of play, Alvinegro Carioca's Hermínio Ferraz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Alagoano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Alagoano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermínio Ferraz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. Hermínio Ferraz might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Ferraz ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Alagoano was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Hermínio Ferraz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermínio Ferraz really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Ferraz was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute José Augusto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Saecinza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rony Netto made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Juarês da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Rony Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Palmeira in the 80th minute of the match. Saecinza's Júlio Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Sarmento in the 82nd minute of play. Chico Vidal scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Alagoano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Saecinza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Ferraz in the 95th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Hermínio Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 98th minute Hermínio Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alvinegro Carioca fully deserved thier win.
