Tostão Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Matos in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Mochila FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nando Matos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 7 minutes into the game, Walmir Falcão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mochila FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Korban the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mochila FC's Walmir Falcão got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tostão Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, AC Korban's Nando Matos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Matos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tostão Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tostão Varela was a little too slow when Flávio Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gernando Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Tostão Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Gernando Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Petru Măguran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mochila FC and the AC Korban players grew even worse after the yellow card. Natã Tasso hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC Korban had won after a very even match.
