When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gernando Nunes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Guilherme Duarte to make any attempt to save it. Juarês de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juarês de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sidnei Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Teixeira in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mochila FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guilherme Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Diego Proença took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Duarte. Guilherme Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zézinho de Salles hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Marco Leite in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mochila FC's Rafinha de Barros. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Barral in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the game Marco Leite made a throw-in which Gualter Queirós played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Nunes in the 96th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Guilherme Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mochila FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
