The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zeca Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frédson Couto went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alexsandro Gomes in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisão Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute of the match, Christian Prado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisão Sabóia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th match minute, OSASCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Cafu Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flamengo CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano de Carvalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luciano de Carvalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flamengo CIMZ's Luisão Sabóia did a great save. After having played for 47 minutes, Lisandro Masses managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OSASCO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Masses was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cafu Torres made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Prado came free, but Luisão Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeca Freire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Arce. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Masses in the 64th minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Luisão Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Masses, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luisão Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Prado's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Alexsandro Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo CIMZ's Luisão Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Frédson Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Masses in the 89th minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Luisão Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
