In the 8th match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Vitório Baiano got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Vitório Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mochila FC the free kick. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Vitório Baiano hit a great ball. Mochila FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juvenal Oliveira in the 15th minute. Gernando Nunes took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Vieira. Juan Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute José Augusto Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Augusto Capixaba made a great header on Relyn Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Mochila FC's Tostão Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 30th minute, José Augusto Capixaba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With his leg Tostão Varela managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Relyn Futebol Clube's José Augusto Capixaba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Davi Couto made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mochila FC's Rafinha de Barros. In the 36th minute Gernando Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Juarês de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gernando Nunes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira. Juan Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gernando Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Augusto Capixaba in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Varela saved Mochila FC from getting behind. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Relyn Futebol Clube's José Augusto Capixaba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vitório Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Relyn Futebol Clube's José Augusto Capixaba in 67 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tostão Varela guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 69 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Nunes. After 70 minutes of play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Vitório Baiano made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tostão Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Augusto Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Mochila FC's Gernando Nunes got a free kick in the 80th minute. Relyn Futebol Clube's José Augusto Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Caetano Félix seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Caetano Félix the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Relyn Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Caetano Félix had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Félix to maneuver through the defense. Mochila FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
