With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Gonçalves in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo da Fonseca saved Quandus from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Umbrella Corporation's Luiz Fábio Freire got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nicolas de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. João Paulo Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quandus. Dalmo da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adhemar Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Umbrella Corporation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Nicolas de Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. Jeferson Mazza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 58th playminute. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo da Fonseca was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 78th minute, Umbrella Corporation's Ian Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 81st match minute, Quandus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Netto to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Gonçalves in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo da Fonseca saved Quandus from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Umbrella Corporation's Ian Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmo da Fonseca. That made the score 0-4 after 93 minutes of play.
