Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renato Penha started the match with the kick off. Renato Penha took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 5th match minute, Resplendor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson de Godoy to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Penha came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Barral took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Gaspar came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Luciano Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Resplendor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eliseu Aguiar hit a great ball. Francisco Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gaspar in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Renato Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enéas Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Renato Penha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamond Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 31 minutes into the game, Diamond Football Club's Renato Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enéas Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Gaspar in the 35th minute of play forced Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Francisco Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamond Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 42nd minute Francisco Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gaspar in the 44th minute of the match. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Penha in the 52nd minute of play forced Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Mendonça in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Gilson de Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resplendor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamond Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Resplendor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson de Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Celso Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Resplendor's zone, Renato Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Arantes came out of the goal and Renato Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Benjamin Correia got a free kick in the 64th minute. Resplendor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Francisco Gaspar scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Arantes, making the score, 0-8. After 71 minutes, Iuri Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resplendor and the Diamond Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Francisco Gaspar notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Resplendor's Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Resplendor getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gilson de Godoy hit a great ball. Luciano Barral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enéas Arantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Barral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Francisco Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ezequiel Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Gaspar. The Resplendor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diamond Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
