When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Emerson Lira put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinho Macedo. William Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Neno Cestarolli got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Claudinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Hoffmann in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Cestarolli FC's Luizão Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Fernandão Garcia's late challenge caught a Cestarolli FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandão Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Fernandão Garcia got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Edmílson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Macedo having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Hoffmann. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fernandão Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neno Cestarolli during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Neno Cestarolli. Claudinho Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Lira in the 58th minute of play. Claudinho Macedo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Emerson Lira sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emerson Lira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Neno Cestarolli got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Emerson Lira came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cestarolli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson Lira couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Júnior Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ and the Cestarolli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Lira in the 74th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Claudinho Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Emerson Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luizão Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Claudinho Macedo made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's Luizão Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glauco Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio de Almeida having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Lira in the 93rd minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Claudinho Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cestarolli FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
