Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emerson Lira kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Valdir Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Valdir Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laércio de Almeida was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Peres came free, but Laércio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes Betinho Peixoto managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as Cestarolli FC's supporters held their thumbs. Betinho Peixoto was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 1-1. When Jano Motta fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAQUARI FC's protests and gave Jano Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Jano Motta got a free kick in the 30th minute. Laércio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Queiroz in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bruninho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAQUARI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laércio de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruninho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Laércio de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruninho Silva was the one to do the kick off. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, TAQUARI FC's Valdir Peres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Laércio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st play minute Bruninho Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Laércio de Almeida. 1-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Emerson Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cestarolli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Emerson Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cestarolli FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Peres in the 78th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Queiroz had several of the Cestarolli FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Laércio de Almeida as he didn't even see the shot coming. 90 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Queiroz came free, but Laércio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TAQUARI FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
