A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Evaristo Cruz hit a great ball. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Guilherme Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Zonta having to make a save. Sílvio Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Senna in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Edgard Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Miguel came out of the goal and Edgard Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival do Vale got free with Sílvio Zonta in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Munhoz. Futbol Club RRFV's Dedê Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Fernando Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Peres in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Durvalino de Amaral got a free kick in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Carlos Alberto de Sousa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Zonta. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Queiroz in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edgard Arósio hit a great ball.

Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sílvio Zonta came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna. But to his dismay, Diamantino Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Felipe Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Miguel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Diamantino Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAQUARI FC the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Fernando Miguel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Felipe Queiroz in the 65thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Senna in the 66th minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV:s Fernando Miguel showed great skill when he stopped Durvalino de Amaral:s penalty. After 72 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Freire. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sílvio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Miguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Leão in the 80th minute. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Senna in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Alberto de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 87th minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Luís Guilherme Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAQUARI FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Senna in the 90th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Silva's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruninho Silva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the TAQUARI FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Futbol Club RRFV.
