Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After 5 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Neno Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Penha in the 6th minute of play. Laércio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Penha in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Gaspar in the 9th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. When Francisco Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamond Football Club's protests and gave Francisco Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Leandro Linhares from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Ernesto Favoretto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ernesto Favoretto came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Luizão Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Luizão Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ernesto Favoretto was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Emerson Lira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emerson Lira really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 44 minutes into the game, Luizão Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ernesto Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Lira in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Cestarolli FC's Emerson Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Favoretto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ernesto Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Lira in the 59th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Gaspar. Cestarolli FC's attentive Júlio Souza managed to snatch the ball when Kléber Tande made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Luizão Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arthur Porto during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Arthur Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ernesto Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. In the 87th minute, Arthur Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Emerson Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Favoretto. Diamond Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Cestarolli FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Diamond Football Club for a fine match.
