In the 7th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Chicão Tepedino hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Wilian de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Laguna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Minotauro's Ernesto Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Laguna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Laguna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Damião. Alex Laguna made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ernesto Damião sent off a good shot on target. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian de Souza in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Minotauro booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. SRP-Laguna's Alex Laguna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Arantes in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Severino Guerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Laguna. Severino Guerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Santos came free, but Alex Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SRP-Laguna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Ernesto Damião scored to the left of an out of position Alex Laguna, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Minotauro's Tales Vasconcelos was substituted for Paulinho Santos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Vasconcelos to make the kick off. SRP-Laguna's Alex Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Guerra in the 58th minute of play. Donato Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni de Toledo having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Vasconcelos came free, but Alex Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Roberto Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time SRP-Laguna's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Barbosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giovanni de Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the game, Minotauro's Tales Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Laguna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Minotauro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
