Dário Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere. If Marquinhos de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Miguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Toscano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, one of FC St. Pauli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dedê Freire placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Basílio Moura hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the last second Guilherme Mendonça throw himself and got hold of the ball when Diamantino Senna in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Futbol Club RRFV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
