An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Cavalcante in the 18th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Sandro Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Cavalcante in the 22nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Eduardo Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Reis in the 40th minute of play. Luciano Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Cavalcante went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Reis made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Cavalcante got free with Luciano Dionísio in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Dionísio having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Matías Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Marinho. Dorian Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dorian Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Soares was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Luciano Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Reis went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the GeRaÇãO-83 defense, Matías Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Dionísio. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Dionísio should have stopped the shot. Orlando Marinho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The long shot by Eduardo Reis in the 82nd minute really tested Luciano Dionísio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Diguinho Mineiro scored 2-6 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute of the match, Eduardo Reis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Dionísio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Dorian Gonçalves got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Eduardo Reis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Dionísio skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matías Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Dionísio. That made the score 2-7 in the 93 minute of play. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
