EDI MZB's Yuri Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Fino in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Fino in the 4th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Yuri Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Fino came free, but Yuri Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Souza in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauan Meira saved México Eterno MZC from getting behind. Gustavo Souza struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kauan Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EDI MZB. The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when EDI MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Váldson França reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yuri Lago. The goal made the score 1-0. Mario Balotelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Yuri Lago made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Mario Balotelli notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of EDI MZB's Yuri Lago. Yuri Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EDI MZB made a substitution. Danilo Pires replaced Hortêncio Passos. After 30 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Didi Mesquita. Kauan Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Maia to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Lago made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mario Balotelli sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, México Eterno MZC's Edu Marinho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Yuri Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauan Meira made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Evandro Maia sent off a good shot on target. Yuri Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Andrade in the 56th minute of play. When Geovani Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EDI MZB's protests and gave Geovani Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Mario Balotelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Andrade came free, but Yuri Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to México Eterno MZC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Silvério de Queirós hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in México Eterno MZC's zone, Rubinho Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Meira came out of the goal and Rubinho Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Mario Balotelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Lago. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Lago should have stopped the shot. Edu Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edu Marinho hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Gustavo Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Fino in the 87th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Yuri Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson França in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Alessandro Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Lago. EDI MZB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. México Eterno MZC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
