After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fernandinho Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedex F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséas Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Cerezo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Gugu Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Carlos Fernando Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Sedex F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Basílio do Valle struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Oséas Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Palmeiras. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio do Valle got free with Oséas Salles in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sedex F.C were furious when Falcão Alves was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sedex F.C's goalkeeper Oséas Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over SE Palmeiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sedex F.C throughout the match.
