Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Durvalino de Brito made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, Sedex F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Martins to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Sedex F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Evandro Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, EDI MZB's Caco Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oséas Salles. Oséas Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 23 played minutes Sedex F.C got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino de Brito. Luís Fabiano Furlan scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oséas Salles was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Evandro Maia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evandro Maia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The throw-in from Evandro Maia in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sedex F.C's Luisão Valladares. Valdo de Queirós came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Sedex F.C's Ismael Varela. But to his dismay, Ismael Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ismael Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Oséas Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Sedex F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Soares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Caco Mota scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséas Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo de Queirós having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Ruy Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sedex F.C and the EDI MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sedex F.C's Ruy Vinhas got a free kick in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the game, Durvalino de Brito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdo de Queirós. Durvalino de Brito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. 85 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fabiano Furlan. 87 minutes into the game, Belmiro Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Oséas Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Caco Mota notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Sedex F.C's Oséas Salles. Oséas Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EDI MZB's Claudinei Albuquerque was substituted for Sidnei Fernandez. Sedex F.C's Oséas Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 97th minute of play. EDI MZB's Valdo de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save EDI MZB from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the EDI MZB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
