Sílvio Luís Lucas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Olavo Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Mandrak in the 5th minute of play. Olavo Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Bittencourt in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Amílton Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Fernandinho Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateus de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafim Bittencourt came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olavo Vasconcelos could save by the left post. Olavo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Alberto in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Renatinho Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mateus de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Serafim Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Vasconcelos. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafim Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Travassos in the 36th minute of play. Yuri Alberto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mateus de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Garcia in the 41st minute of play. Henrique Monteiro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Garcia to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Henrique Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Mateus de Senna. Juventus EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Mateus de Senna made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Renatinho Braga sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Mandrak came free, but Olavo Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Juventus EC's Yuri Alberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Mateus de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Garcia in the 67th minute of the match. Olavo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Mandrak in the 71st minute of play. Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus EC from getting a goal against them. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Olavo Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Mandrak in the 75th minute of play. José Paulo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Francisco Garcia put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mateus de Senna.
