Nelsinho Munhoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elder Tróia went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nelsinho Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Tróia in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Delfim de Carvalho hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Elder Tróia sped through DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Munhoz. Nelsinho Munhoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Tróia's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Clemente Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Meireles in the 25th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Munhoz having to make a save. After some careless play in the DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ defense, Elder Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Munhoz. The DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Munhoz should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Douglas Abraão hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Elder Tróia put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nelsinho Munhoz. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Elder Tróia sped through DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Munhoz. In the 59th match minute, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes of play, Romando Futebol Clube's Ramiro Brito made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 69 minutes into the game, Douglas Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romando Futebol Clube the free kick. Douglas Abraão hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Elder Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Enrique Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Munhoz having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Elder Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ramiro Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Romando Futebol Clube were the better team. Romando Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
