Eriberto Sanches's late challenge caught a TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Sanches helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Teodoro Varela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felippe Maranhense. Felippe Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Varela came free, but Felippe Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Chute de Ouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adalberto Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felippe Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The coaching staff of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Betinho de Azevedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adalberto Marinho had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Washington de Carvalho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Adalberto Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Nunes got free with Felippe Maranhense in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chute de Ouro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodoro Varela was slow to take the kick. During this time TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s corner Teodoro Varela fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Felippe Maranhense quite easily take care of the ball. If Leopoldo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Varela to make the kick off. A collision led to TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rafael Tepedino hit a great ball. Ricardinho Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando das Neves got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Felippe Maranhense handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- had played much better football throughout.
