Thanks to some nice moves Armando Sampaio could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Felippe Maranhense however easily saved by the left post. Ricardinho Capixaba took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. After 84 minutes, Dalmo Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chute de Ouro FC and the Macaco F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Chute de Ouro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Felippe Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério de Mendonça. The crowd rose to their feet as Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felippe Maranhense. That made the score 1-1 after 88 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Capixaba in the 93rd minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Ricardinho Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
