Carlinhos Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hélder Salles. Inter de Munique's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deivid Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deivid Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovanni Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ronaldão Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hélder Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Marco Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cactos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Munique the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Eger in the 20th minute of play. Cido Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Armando Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Trevisan in the 28th minute of play. When Inter de Munique's Josué Eger in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Deivid Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Hélder Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Carvalho. During the 46th minute of the match Carlinhos Prata completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlinhos Prata a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josué Eger made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Walmyr de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes, Cactos's Marco Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Salles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cactos reached it. In the 69thth minute of the game Armando Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Munique's Hélder Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Inter de Munique getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lucas Pires hit a great ball. Marco Carvalho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gernando Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dênis de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cactos's zone, Cido Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid Rosa came out of the goal and Cido Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Inter de Munique's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Trevisan came free, but Hélder Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Inter de Munique getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cido Maranhense hit a great ball. Inter de Munique's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cactos had won, even though Inter de Munique had held more of the ball.
