Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Jardim América FC's Tomás Mazza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jardim América FC booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Teles in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Mazza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Rodrigues in the 26th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Luan Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Tomás Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Ramos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Lenílson Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Lenílson Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Nico Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jardim América FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luan Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenílson Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Nico Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

56 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Luan Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Valle. Cactos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lenílson Rodrigues in the 60th minute. Luan Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Mangueira came free, but Amauri Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Enio Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amauri Prestes. Cactos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enio Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim América FC from getting a goal against them. Luan Ramos made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Reinaldo Teles sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amauri Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Mazza in the 91st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jardim América FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Luan Ramos, was totally fooled by Cactos's Lenílson Rodrigues, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Cactos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cactos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
